Distortron

The Distortron pedal is a modified version of the Box of Rock’s Distortron Engine, featuring enhancements for increased versatility. It includes a gain boost switch for added sizzle and a sub control switch with three selectable levels. These settings are carefully designed to reduce "flubbiness," especially when used with amps that have a heavy low-end response.

ZVEX designed this effect to deliver what might be the ultimate in distortion pedals. It works exceptionally well at the end of your effects chain, where it stacks beautifully with other pedals for a rich, layered sound.
