Vintage 1970s Japan Lawsuit Les Paul Sunburst Open Book Guitar

This beauty has been in the same household since 1978, purchased as an 'O Level' present from Wing Music in Bromley. It's a pre-lawsuit era 'Open Book Headstock' Les Paul, made in Japan in the 1970s. It's by far one of the nicest I've seen in that Tobacco Sunburst finish. The owner had a different bridge put on it in the 1980s as the original had the plastic corroding. Both pickups are original to the guitar from new, but the bridge pickup is the 'Gabbon' style humbucker whereas the neck pickup is the more often seen Gibson style. They really sing together! It's in brilliant cosmetic condition with only a few light marks as you can see. It has been incredibly well looked after by the previous owner.
