Pre-owned in fabulous condition - Fully set up with new strings
After the success of the Telecaster in the ‘50s, where many artists from Rock, Country, and R&B showcased its versatility, Fender created the ‘60s Telecaster to celebrate the innovation of the time.
This limited edition Squier model features 1960s-inspired headstock markings, rich-looking nickel-plated hardware and a slick vintage-tint gloss neck finish for an old-school vibe. The double-bound body pays homage to the Custom Telecaster models of the 1960s.
Features
Vintage Vibes – 100% Fender-designed using vintage specifications with unique finishes and double-bound design to create a nostalgic and authentic feeling and sounding ‘60s Telecaster.
Authentic Voicing – The Fender-designed alnico pickups offer that crystal-clear charm and Tele twang, producing a hotter output for a more versatile playing experience.
Comfortably Traditional – The late ‘60s designed “C” neck shape offers superb playability and comfortability that gradually thickens towards for 12th fret for ease of access up and down the neck.
Body & neck
At first glance, the double-binding and vintage-inspired finish is enough to make an impression. But this Classic Vibe Tele boasts a balanced tonewood combination that tips its hat to the ‘60s while offering a versatile tonal range.
The Nyatoh body brings a touch of resonance similar to Mahogany, perhaps a surprising choice for a Tele – but this only adds depth to the Fender-designed pickups. Next up, it's Maple and Indian Laurel for the neck and fretboard respectively, emphasising the snappiness you’d expect. The Laurel has a lighter-than-Rosewood shade which looks great against the finish, while the Maple neck has a subtle vintage tint for that display case charm.
Electronics & hardware
Expect a killer balance of Tele twang and welcome low-mid resonance with two Fender-designed alnico single-coils. The slightly hotter output introduces some extra bite and sustain, ideal for any kind of lead playing.
Nickel hardware appointments complete the retro styling, polished off with that quintessential 3-saddle bridge and vintage-style tuner combo.
