Vintage original circa 1930’s Kalamazoo KG-14 acoustic.
A particularly great sounding and playing example. L-00 style Flattop acoustic, very similar to the famous Gibson design and produces the same wonderful tone.
These were made by Gibson in the Kalamazoo, Michigan factory back in the 1930s. We think that this one was manufactured in 1937.
This is a particularly nice playing example with a good neck angle and nice action and playability with its period V profile Mahogany neck. No buzz or issues. There is also plenty of saddle left for further adjustment if desired.
This is a “player grade” example with a few repaired cracks on the side and top, common on one of these. This guitar is ready for more decades of use. Numerous chips and dings, all in keeping with its age and use. The saddle and bridge pins are also non-original.
Benefits from a K&K pickup, so its ready to gig and record.
The neck block is ink stamped 12190 ( Although hard to read) and the impressed number on the back of the neck is 1203
