Very cool Black 1988 Fender USA Strat Plus w/ Maple Neck in Very Good condition!

We've just taken in this lovely example of a USA Fender! Specifically, this is a beautiful 1988 Fender USA Strat Plus finished in a classic Black Hi-Gloss Poly Finish with a luscious Maple fretboard! These were trendy models throughout the late 80s & 90s for being tour ready & coming as standard with Fender Lace-Sensor Gold Pickups, Sperzel Locking Tuners, Roller Nut, and Schaller Locking Strap Buttons to name a few of its many pro-level features.

As you would expect on any 80s Strat that has been well 'loved' this Strat Plus has some signs that show its age, most notably on the Maple fretboard as you can see in our images the frets have begun to pit as is common on any used instrument but is easily rectified with a simple fret dress. The high gloss lacquer finish has also begun to check around the fret wire as is common in this era. Aside from these points and a few small light scratches & dings around the body, this instrument is in spectacular shape for its age & is ready to hit the road once more!

As is standard practice with any new arrival in store, this very cool Strat Plus has been through the trusted hands of our team in our onsite workshop to ensure it is in tip-top shape for its new home and owner!
