Product Details

Description

This is a Fender Jazzmaster Re-Finished in Fiesta Red with many original features.

A "player grade" example with a neck date of 4 July 63 and a B profile. The serial number is L21961 which dates it to 1964. The pots and Black Bottom pickups also date from 1964. They read a very healthy 7.44 k neck and 8.29 k bridge.

The electronics look relatively unmolested but obviously, the guitar has been apart during its life. It has its original Nitrate pickguard which has shrunk slightly but has no cracks.

The Fiesta Red Nitro re-finish has been done professionally and it really looks good.

The neck has also been re-finished and we believe that the Fender logo was replaced. The nut width is 41.78mm. The single-line Kluson machine heads are in great shape and function well. It has had professional re-fret and the veneer Rosewood fingerboard is in excellent order.

The bridge and saddles are not original and the tremolo retaining collar also looks like a replacement. The guitar weighs 7.86Lb,

Please study our pictures as they form part of the description. More photos are available by request.

The pickups are powerful with a rich "Jazzmaster" tone which is unmistakable.

It has a generic non-original hard case. It does not have an original tremolo arm.

This is a great vintage guitar for custom shop money!
