In the 1980's the absence of a standard American model meant this made in Japan (MIJ) Contemporary Series Strat was a top of the line model.
This is a stunning 1985 Contemporary Strat made in the Fender Japan factory. Finished in an awesome metallic blue mist burst with original black scratch plate and pickups and matching black headstock. This is incredibly neat and tidy for its age, with a few minor dinks and marks here and there. Original floating trem has been replaced with an original Floyd Rose. Frets are in great shape and it’s set up with a smooth low action., HSS pickup configuration, TBX treble bass expander tone control, coil-split switch & 5-way selector, all in a glorious Blue mist burst!
