1979 Hardtail strat... that means no pesky trem knocking you out of tune every time you use it!
This is a true vintage instrument. Featuring an overspray paint job which was done by the Fender factory themselves.
The fretboard is most likely not original as I cannot find evidence of Fender making ebony fretboards with no inlays at this time. However... EBONY!
This guitar plays really well, the hot rails in the bridge mean that you don't get the brittle, bite that put many players off of using the strat bridge, instead you get a pickup that delights, truly, in distortion!
It has been loved and as such, has some small dings, not bad at all for something that's 45 years old though!
A beautiful vintage guitar that is only going to increase with value as time passes.
