Founded in 1968 in New York City by former rhythm & blues keyboard player Mike Mathews. EHX is known by many for not only some of the most iconic effects pedals to date but for really pushing the boundaries of pedal effects in general. EHX in recent years has developed a vast range of effects that go rather against the grain of what many would call traditional. As previously stated the brand is also known for creating such iconic effects pedals as the Big Muff, Q-Tron, Small Clone & of course the Golden Throat.
Considered the "Holy Grail" of Talkboxes, the golden throat has a long and quite incredible line of users. Anyone from Peter Frampton to Stevie Wonder has used this unique effect at one time. Our glorious example has clearly had some use in the past but we can assure you it sounds phenomenal! Don't miss out!
