Dearnaley Model 0 Left-Handed 12-Fret Walnut / Cedar 2023

The world-class bespoke acoustics, built in the heart of Wales & exclusive to MotoMusic! The Cardiff master luthier is back again with another stellar iteration of his Model 0 guitars.
This guitar features a beautiful Walnut back and sides with a stunning Cedar top.
It has a lovely rich tone and a very pronounced sound thanks to its smaller body but with immense clarity through the quality of the materials and Dave's own bracing pattern.
The Dearnaley acoustics feature a "cylinder built" body and a build utilizing very old hand-selected re-claimed timbers.
The tuned cedar top combined with Dave's own "X" hand-carved bracing offers the player a wonderful balanced and loud acoustic tone This pattern was designed specifically for his unique body style which he describes as a scaled-up and deepened Parlour (the lower bout measures 15" across) It's comfortable in your lap and feels and sits "just right"

His decades of guitar building and attention to the intonation of each instrument make this a formidable acoustic guitar. Note the angle of the headstock, the hand-carved chunky three-piece mahogany neck, it's all pure class.

The neck is affixed with the Somogyi doweled tenon method rather than a Martin-style dovetail joint. This guitar is fitted with Kulson black button machine heads as well as a K&K under-saddle Pickup. Obviously, the top nut and saddle are hand-carved bone all done by hand by one man in his workshop.

Although new, these are hand-crafted instruments from re-reclaimed timbers and as such there are small imperfections in the timber that add to the character of these guitars.

A must-try for all acoustic players looking for some finger-pickin' goodness.

As is standard practice with any new arrival in store, this very cool Dearnaley Model 0 has been through the trusted hands of our team in our onsite workshop to ensure it is in tip-top shape for its new home and owner!
