The bass features an alder body with a beautiful exotic wood top. Outfitting the body are a pair of Bartolini Jeff Berlin custom soapbar pickups, a Babicz Full Contact Hardware bridge, one volume control, one balance control, one tone control, passive electronics, and gold hardware. The hard rock maple neck is complemented with a ebony fingerboard and four inline headstock featuring Hipshot Ultralite tuners. The action on the bass is low, and it is set up with DR Strings Custom DDT (Drop Down Tuning) for easy playing. “After playing the same bass for so many years I was not sure that another builder could develop something that I would love. As soon as I played the very first Cort Rithimic bass, I was wowed. I could not believe how perfectly this bass turned out. This is an astonishing instrument that Cort has built for me.”

This instrument is in excellent, near mint condition. It has a small mark on the back of the neck (see pics). The techs found no other issues and it has little to no play wear. We are an authorized dealer for brand approved manufacturer refurbished guitars. These guitars are sent directly from the manufacturer to the authorized refurbishing center where they are fully inspected, set up and cleared by a certified technician. They are sent there for many reasons, including: returns, cosmetic flaws, minor repairs, surplus & discontinued or last years models. The guitars serial number may be partially altered and/or replaced and the back of the headstock is lightly stamped "used" by the authorized refurbishing center per manufacturer agreements.
