This is a 1960's Burns London double cutaway solid body electric guitar.

Three "Split-Sound single coil pickups leading to a rotary selector featuring "Split-Sound" "Jazz" "Treble" and "Wild Dog" settings.

This guitar has been re-necked in the past, this is reflected in the asking price.

Very versatile and the engineering and design of these instruments are exceptional when you consider other guitars from the same period. A worthy opponent of the ubiquitous Strat and still relevant for today's players.

A small part of the neck edge binding is missing along with the plastic headstock logo. The machine heads have been replaced with some very early USA Grovers. There is some fret wear but plenty of life left in them. It has numerous light chips and dings but we believe that it is in very good condition for the year. The trem arm has also undergone some modification and the plastic neck plate has also been replaced.

The electronics and tremolo work perfectly, and the tremolo on this guitar is a joy to use, its got a very nice feel to it.

This guitar is not being sold with a case but we can supply a case or gig bag at an extra cost if so desired.
