The Atkin OM-37 Aged Nitro is an Orchestra Model (OM) acoustic guitar famous for its balanced tone and comfortable playability. 

Our lovely 2018 example is in excellent condition and has no discernible fret wear. Part of a collection and used sparingly.

It features a torrified (baked) Sitka spruce top, this turbo charges the ageing process and produces an incredible tone without having to wait for years for the guitar to “open up” and East Indian rosewood back and sides, a combination that delivers a rich, mature sound with good projection. 

The "Aged" designation refers to Atkin's signature aging process, which gives the guitar a visually aged appearance and a played-in feel. They pioneered this technique and we believe that they do this better than any other manufacturer. It just looks and feels “right”.

It has the best of the best in terms of construction, Ebony fingerboard, Rosewood faced headstock overly, scalloped X top bracing for volume and the OM body gives the fingerstyle guitarist the balance that is essential.

The scale is 25.4” and the top nut measures 43mm. Its really nice to play and we are always very impressed by Atkin acoustics when they arrive here at Motomusic. These are world class acoustics.
