A stunning and unique offering from the early days of the Fender Custom Shop. From 1996 this Stratocaster was part of a very limited FMT 'Flame Maple Top' run which as the name would suggest, encompasses a Strat with a nice thick Flame Top! The base for the guitar is also a '54RI so has all of the early Strat historic features including a single ply guard, super light weight ash body (A hair over 8lb all in) and a nice very chunky '54 neck profile. 

On top of the neck being super chunky, it is also an incredibly figured piece of birds eye maple which really adds to the character of this guitar, a cracking top, birds eye neck and nicely figured piece of ash for the body makes for an ideal guitar for any collector big into their exotic/unique wooded guitars. 

The guitar comes complete with its original hard shell case, tremolo arm, bridge cover and COA. The guitar its self is in fantastic condition with no visible wear or damage anywhere on the guitar and very very little in the way of fret wear. The tweed to the case shows a little bit of aging but nothing that affects its function. 

This is a really nice unique example from the very start of the Fender Custom Shops history and would make a great statement piece in any guitar collection. It sounds fantastic and bright with a great feel to that '54 neck and is all round an awesome Stratocaster.
