This has the highly sought after top-mounted Kahler tremolo that doesn't require any routing through the body! The early San Dimas Randy Rhoads guitars featured premium biding with fret nibs (Gibson Style). Early no-logo tuners, early no-logo pickups with exposed poles, early headstock shape and early brass Kahler and brass pickguard. Leather strap with matching brass Schaller strap locks made in West Germany. This is a piece of guitar history that shows where this iconic design truly began. Jackson guitars under the 1000 serial number rarely appear for sale and consistently climb in value. This is priced cheaper than many of the new Fender ownership era Custom Shop Jackson models, but has nearly 40 years of history built in and is from the rarest and most iconic San Dimas factory "Golden Era" of the Jackson Guitars brand history. It is the earliest Jackson Randy Rhoads we have ever been able to get our hands on at the studio, and they simply don't come in better condition than this. This is the iconic guitar design that defined the 80's and instantly makes a player stand out on stage!

The guitar is in very good condition for its age. There are minor marks and normal finish aging & finish bleed into the binding with a tape edge that may indicate an early refinish, however the early paintjobs from this era are known to have these sort of blemishes from the factory - watch the video for the full condition.
