Description
1975 Fender Telecaster Deluxe Vintage 70s Electric Guitar. Fender designed the Telecaster Deluxe in 1972 and introduced the model as its first dual humbucker guitar in 1973 as an answer to the Gibson Les Paul. You can see this model shares the 4-knob control layout as seen on the Les Paul. The Telecaster Deluxe was Fender's flagship top model and cost $400 new when it was introduced to the world. It was remarkable for having so many distinct features from a normal Telecaster. The body contours and headstock shape are that of the Stratocaster from the same era. The pickguard, bridge, pickups and controls are totally different from the common Telecaster. This guitar thankfully retains its original 1974 dated Wide Range humbuckers that produce much richer tones than the standard Telecaster. This is a beautiful guitar that has survived well over the past 49 years! The value and demand for these early examples will continue to climb as the guitar passes half a century in age. For the price of a normal custom shop guitar today, you can have the authentic original.
