This is a 1974 Martin 000-28 vintage acoustic guitar. Offered for sale in excellent condition for its age.

74' Is the same year as Clapton's famous "Wonderful Tonight" Martin 000-28 and hopefully, this guitar will also produce some more classic love songs for its next owner!

Spruce top and Rosewood back and sides, Mahogany neck with volute. The top nut measures 43mm and it has factory-fitted Grover machine heads. The serial number is 351759 and this guitar weighs 4.24lb,

A very nice example with a rich balanced tone. It has a strong bottom end and clear crisp highs. This instrument projects well and is a great example of a post-war era Martin 000 acoustic, It has a medium action and plays well. Some very minor fret wear is visible and to be expected on a guitar of this age, but this dose does not impede on the playability of this instrument. The back of the neck is smooth with just a few small surface marks and it feels nice in the hand,

With just a few marks and scuffs from the decades of use by its single owner from new in 1974. There is a very fine crack on the waist of the bass side lower bout. This is on the surface and does not extend internally and it is perfectly stable, We have black light tested the guitar and there are no other cracks or repairs and the finish is original,

It is being sold with its original Blue Martin C-330 hardshell case,
